LTZX LAB · FIELD CASE STUDY 01

Yarbo in a
Minnesota summer.

I use Yarbo at my own home, and LTZX Systems is an authorized Yarbo dealer. It has saved me a lot of mowing time this summer, but getting there has involved some learning. Here is what I would tell someone before their own setup.

MINNESOTASUMMER 2026OWNER EXPERIENCEAUTHORIZED DEALER
The short version

Worth it for me. Not magic.

The mower is doing the job I wanted it to do: giving me time back. The biggest lesson is that autonomous outdoor equipment still benefits from someone paying attention to the property, the map and the way the machine actually moves.

If you want something that arrives, maps itself perfectly and never asks another question, that has not been my experience. If you are willing to tune the setup, the payoff can be very real.

Field notes

What I learned
by actually using it.

No score out of ten. Just the things I would want to know if I were setting up another one tomorrow.

01

What is working

The mower has genuinely saved me time this summer. Once the plan is dialed in, it can take a recurring chore off the list and keep the yard looking consistently maintained.

02

Setup takes thought

The Data Center needs Ethernet, a clear view of the sky and a location that also makes sense relative to the docking area. Those constraints can make placement less obvious than it sounds on paper.

03

Map for the mower you have

No-go zones matter, but so does leaving enough room for Yarbo to maneuver. A route can shift slightly, so tight spaces need more margin than you may expect during the first mapping pass.

04

Tune the mowing plan

The first plan does not have to be the final plan. I have had better results by watching how Yarbo handles the property, then adjusting zones, paths and mowing behavior based on what actually happens.

05

The Trimmer is still for tinkerers

When the Trimmer attachment works, it is impressive. My experience has also included several attachment and navigation errors. I would not call it ready for someone who expects a completely hands-off appliance today. If you are comfortable tinkering, there is a lot of potential and I am happy to work through it with you.

06

Support has been responsive

When I have needed help, Yarbo support has been responsive. As an authorized dealer, I can also help customers think through installation, mapping and the early adjustments that make the system work better for a specific property.

Planning a setup?

I can help you avoid my first-pass mistakes.

A good Yarbo installation starts before the mower ever leaves the dock.

I can help think through Data Center placement, docking location, map boundaries, no-go zones, path width and the areas where a little extra room makes autonomous navigation easier.
